LEFAY GROUP RECEIVES TOP EMPLOYERS 2025: A RECOGNITION OF EXCELLENCE
Last February 13th, in the sunny city of Madrid, Lefay Resorts & Residences was at the official ceremony of “TOP Employers 2025” award, issued to the most virtuous companies in terms of human resources policies.
Obtained by the Group for the fourth consecutive year, the certification is given following an analysis process based on objective data and supporting documentation. HR policies and strategies in six macro areas, encompassing twenty themes and more than 173 Best Practices, are analyzed and evaluated.
A seal that validates the efforts put into practice by the company, which has more than 400 Employees (including 339 direct employees), 38 percent of whom are under the age of 30. Team members are equally divided in terms of gender, with 56 percent of management positions held by women. The Company offers benefits that are unique in the industry, as well as an average remuneration that is 20 percent higher than national collective agreement for hospitality industry.
Furthermore, in 2023, the “BeLefay Project” was introduced, which aims to increase the well-being of employees by intervening in various aspects and improving the quality of primary benefits, including, for example, the establishment of immediate pay mechanisms for extra performance, the enhancement of Teams to ensure a work-life balance, modern housing guaranteed to all employees or specific indemnity, the “Noi” Restaurant, managed in-house by a dedicated Team, the staff rate for staying at Group’s resorts, and much more.
Above all the opportunities regarding professional growth and training are emphasized: in addition to multiple theoretical and practical courses, Lefay supports Employees on a tailored career path. Among the advantages favored by the Team, the experiential training is offered, which allows them to try the Lefay experience firsthand, to better understand service standards and strengthen, through concrete experimentation, awareness of Lefay’s signature products and services. In 2023 alone, a total of 17,108 hours of training were conducted.
The flagship of the Lefay training programme is the Lefay SPA Academy, launched in 2023 with the aim of training first-class wellness professionals in luxury hospitality. It is the first academy created by an award-winning SPA Destination worldwide guaranteeing a unique training pathway, that combines both technical subjects and topics related to five-star hospitality and, at the same time, gives the opportunity to work in a SPA Destination, also receiving an official diploma recognized by the Lombardy region. For the Class of 2023, it is already time for final exams, but selections are confirmed every year.
